Project Overview
This project involves the architectural design of a holiday residence and its surrounding landscape, including a private swimming pool. Situated just minutes from the town of Skopelos, the property harmoniously blends into its natural surroundings while offering modern comfort and privacy.
Design Concept
The site includes a two-storey villa with multi-level terraces, and a separate guesthouse designed to accommodate two people — offering a private retreat within the estate. The architectural approach focused on preserving the existing oak roof structure, which was carefully restored and highlighted as a central design element.
A bold contrast was introduced through the use of pigmented polished concrete in a deep green hue, adding a contemporary character that interacts dynamically with the landscape.
Materials & Aesthetic
The selection of materials and detailing draw inspiration from traditional Pelion architecture, reinterpreted through smooth, organic lines and a modern design language. This project represents a dialogue between heritage and innovation, resulting in a timeless, serene atmosphere.
