The design of this multi-purpose space in Thessaloniki aimed to create an environment with a distinctly European identity, setting it apart from conventional aesthetic approaches. Inspired by the structured minimalism of Berlin’s architectural spaces, the composition emphasizes clean lines, bold textures, and geometric precision.

This setting accommodates a beauty center, hair salon, makeup studio, manicure-pedicure area, and a small coffee stand, offering a comprehensive experience of relaxation and self-care.

The material selection was meticulously curated to enhance the spatial character. Inox surfaces, in both rectangular and curved forms, reflect light and reinforce the cold geometry of the space. Hanging metal chains act as semi-transparent partitions, maintaining openness, while white concrete finishes and organically shaped stands introduce contrast and material richness.

The main space is structured with elongated black lacquered wood tables, maintaining a strict monochrome palette. Details such as stools, lighting fixtures, and door handles align with the same aesthetic direction.

At the heart of the space, the reception area stands as a unique architectural intervention. The flooring shifts to white pebbles, interspersed with larger slabs, defining the visitor’s standing zone. Contrasting with the organic texture of the pebbles, the strictly geometric inox reception desk highlights the interplay between industrial and natural elements.

The overall black-and-white color scheme remains consistent, with the only organic touch being dried plants emerging from large white pebbles.

In the facial aesthetics rooms, an innovative partition material was introduced: smart glass, which shifts from transparent to frosted at the touch of a button, ensuring privacy when needed while also allowing the option for a more open and interactive setting, ideal for group treatments or consultations.

This multi-purpose space was designed as a cohesive whole, where sharp lines, materiality, and light reflections shape a contemporary, structured, and multi-dimensional environment.
