The renovation of the hotel in Agria presented a unique architectural challenge, with the primary goal of upgrading the hotel’s identity and creating a roof garden that offers a distinctive experience of relaxation and breathtaking views.
The exterior transformation was based on a balanced blend of modern and timeless elements, giving the building a renewed identity. The corner façade was clad in a soft purple hue, enhancing the volume’s dynamism and adding an air of sophistication and elegance. The main entrance was entirely redesigned, transformed into an impressive arch, and covered in matching tiles, while subtle linear lighting elements frame it, amplifying the theatricality of the composition. This new entrance invites and intrigues visitors, offering them a glimpse of the atmosphere that awaits at the rooftop.
On the façade, black metal elements highlight the clarity of the lines, lending a sense of unity and modern refinement. Meanwhile, delicate lighting along the balconies creates a feeling of lightness, accentuating the building’s geometry and adding a subtle glow to its nighttime presence.
The Roof Garden
Designed to host both hotel guests and external visitors, the roof garden takes full advantage of its prime location above the sea, offering an uninterrupted panoramic view that embraces the Pagasetic Gulf. Its design seamlessly aligns with the hotel’s new exterior identity, crafting a space where architecture meets experience.
Metal pergolas and glass canopies ensure year-round functionality, while the different elevated levels allow guests to enjoy the view as if it were a living frame in constant motion.
The ambiance is completed with tropical plants, sleek black metal accents, a marble bar with striped black-and-white tiling, wooden tables, and chairs with woven details. At the center, a large circular planter brimming with greenery serves as a focal point, adding balance and natural harmony.
This is a space that goes beyond simple hospitality, transforming into a summer experience that radiates elegance, warmth, and a sense of freedom.
