In the heart of Volos, within one of the city’s best-preserved neoclassical buildings, lies the Mexican restaurant No Mames. This project merges the architectural heritage of the city with the vibrant, colorful spirit of Mexican culture through its design approach.

The space is divided into two areas: the indoor dining area and a semi-open courtyard. Warm tones, organic materials and soft lighting, combined with playful elements that bring color and identity to the setting, create a unique atmosphere.

In the interior space, materials, textures, and finishes have been used alongside decorative elements that highlight the Mexican essence. The wall colors, wooden-framed cane ceilings, and warm, low lighting, further emphasize this concept.Wooden geometric structures are used as perforated partitions between the main area and the open kitchen.

In contrast, the courtyard creates a slightly different aesthetic, characterized by a black metal roof frame and bold bluish green elements. These elements are featured at the bar, in the curtains, the fountain, and the tropical plants that decorate this outdoor space. Throughout the entire project, sections of the well-preserved old stone walls are left exposed, adding to the charm of the design.

The result is an inviting, warm, and pleasant space that transports customers from entry to exit!
